Adding a Source
The Sources feature in Pulse allows you to keep track of where the contacts in your system are coming from.
The sources already built-in to your Pulse account are website, landing page, convert page, and direct. The direct source indicates that you manually entered their contact information into Pulse.
You can add your own sources into Pulse if you get new contact information in other ways, like birthday parties or events.
To get to the Sources page click on the Settings (gear) icon and then click on Sources under the Global section.
On the Sources page, you can see all of the sources you currently have, including the default sources.
To add your own source, click on the New Source button in the top right corner.
Next, you will need to give your source a name and click on the blue Create button.
Once you create your source it will be added to the sources page.
If you need to go in and change the source for a contact, you can edit their source from their profile. Once you have a contact’s profile open, click on the Actions button in the top right corner and select Edit from the drop-down menu.
You will then click on the Account tab. From here you can change the Source field to any of the sources in your system.
Once you have adjusted the source, make sure to click the Save User button in the top right corner of the screen.
