Manually Checking-In Students

There are multiple ways students can check-in to classes at your facility.

Students are able to check themselves in at your facility by using the Pulse app on a tablet. They can either find their name on the main page of the app or use their unique QR code to scan themself in.

If you need to manually check-in a student, you can do that on your Pulse site.

To get to the Check-in page in Pulse, click on the People icon and then click on Check-in under Attendance.

The Check-in page will initially have all members displayed on it.

In order to filter the page to only show students on a particular roster, click on the Roster field and select a roster from the drop down menu.

You also have the option to use the Search field on the right side of the page to look up a specific student.

When you check-in a student click on the blue Check-in button under their name. This will open a Confirm Check-in pop-up.

On the Confirm Check-in screen make sure if the student is on multiple rosters you select the appropriate roster they are on for the class they are attending. Once you have selected a roster and a class click the Check-in Now button.

After a student has been checked in, they will be removed from the main check-in screen.

Accessing Your Check-in History

If you are interested in seeing how many check-ins your facility has had recently, you can view this information by accessing your Attendance Dashboard

To get to your dashboard click on the People icon and then select Dashboard under the Attendance section.

On the Dashboard page you can see a chart tracking the number of check-ins that happened on each day.

The Range field gives you the option to view check-ins over the last 7 days or the last 30 days.

The Roster field allows you to filter the chart to only show check-ins for a particular roster.
