Adding Your Classes

Building out your class schedule in Pulse will allow your members to pre-register for classes and check-in to class at your facility.

In order to add your classes to Pulse you will first navigate to the Classes page, which is where you will be able to view your schedule and edit classes. You can find the Classes page by clicking on the Settings icon and then clicking on Classes under the Global section.

If you have not yet added any classes your main page will be blank.

Click on New Class in the top right corner to create a new class.

You will then be taken to the Create Class page where you can start adding the specific information for the class, including the name of the class and the maximum number of members who can attend that class.

If you do not want to set a limit on the number of people who can attend class you would leave the Maximum number of members field blank.

Another option you have here is to unselect the checkbox where it says ‘Show this class on a public class booking’. If you unselect this option it will make the class private so only you have access to manually add people to the class.

The Staff field is where you can select one of your staff members  who is already set up in the Pulse system to be assigned to that class.

The Schedule section at the bottom of the page is where you will indicate when exactly the class takes place. You can only select one day of the week here and after you have clicked on the day you want, it will turn blue.

To change the start and end time of your class, you can either manually enter the numeric values or use the arrow buttons to change the times.

Once you are finished editing the settings for this class you will click the Create button under the Schedule section to add this class to your schedule.

Editing Your Classes

If you need to edit any of your classes, you will go back to the Classes page by clicking Classes under the Global section again.

From that main schedule view you can click on the small pencil icon in the bottom right corner of the class you would like to edit to change the settings for that class.
