Manage Communication Status

The Key Steps 

  1. Click on the People icon
  2. Click on Everybody under the People section
  3. Click on the name of the contact you need to edit
  4. On the main profile page, scroll down to the Communication Section
  5. Click on the Subscribe/Unsubscribe button to change their status

Creating a New Membership Type

A contact’s communication status controls whether or not they receive messaging from your facility through Pulse. To manually change whether a contact’s communication status is set to "subscribed" or "unsubscribed," you first need to navigate to their profile.

To access all of your contacts, click on the People icon and then select Everyone under the People section.

Once you navigate to the Everyone page, click on the name of the contact whose communication status you want to change. 

From the contact’s main profile page, you will scroll down to the Communication Status section. If they are actively subscribed, you will see a button that says Unsubscribe on the right side of the page. If they are currently unsubscribed, the button will say Subscribe.

Click on the Subscribe or Unsubscribe button to change the contact’s communication status.
